Pulse Sports Volleyball Club Participant Agreement
Participating in sports involves inherent risks, and volleyball is no exception. It requires cardiovascular fitness, mental coordination, and emotional agility. While we strive to minimize risks, we must acknowledge that accidents can occur. By enrolling the child/ward in Pulse Sports Volleyball Club (PSC Volleyball), parents/guardians understand and accept these risks. We will always prioritize safety and provide guidelines to mitigate potential injuries, but the ultimate responsibility lies with the participant and their guardian.

Summer Camp Deposit $175—for students in the Summer coaching program who want to hold their space. This is a one-time payment and will not auto-renew.

Why a deposit?
Your deposit not only secures your space in the Summer coaching program, but also shows your commitment. Most classes require a minimum of students and many of our classes have a waiting list. Your deposit acknowledges your commitment and goes toward your total balance once class participation is confirmed. For those who are on a coach’s waiting list, this deposit lets us know that you wish to lock-in your coach of choice when a space becomes available.

Understanding Risks and Responsibilities
We accept and understand that the sport of volleyball involves certain inherent risks, dangers, and hazards that may cause serious personal injury, including death, severe paralysis, or brain injury necessitating long-term care and significantly impairing enjoyment of life or life activities. We accept and understand that injuries may occur because of participating in this sport. This applies to present and future participation, facility use, and equipment use. Players are required to report any safety concerns to the PSC Volleyball Coach or PSC Administrative team members.

Photo/Video Release Authorization
We permit PSC Volleyball to photograph/video me and use such photograph(s)/video(s) in all media forms for any promotional purposes, including advertising, display, audiovisual, exhibition, or editorial use. I consent to use my name in connection with the photograph(s)/video(s) if needed by the PSC Volleyball. We understand and agree that we will not receive any payment for my time or expenses or any royalty for the publication of the photograph(s)/video(s) or the use of the name. We hereby release PSC Volleyball from any such claims.

Use of Personal Information
All parents/guardians agree to attend virtual training, coaching sessions, or team meetings via email, video, or online method, and these sessions could be viewed as individual training. A record of which coaches have been approved to conduct these sessions shall be communicated in advance. If a minor player emails a coach, the player must copy the parent/guardian or other applicable adult on all correspondences. Parents/Guardians authorize PSC Volleyball to collect and use personal information about me or my child/ward to receive communications (newsletters, publications, announcements, invitations, and other news or information) and post articles of interest, newsletters, promotions, statistics, images, and results on their website(s).

Social Media
We acknowledge that social media outlets will be used cautiously to communicate with other team members and will be open. Any post-event (practice or tournament) photos will be published with club/director/parent/athlete permission. We acknowledge that we will not have “conversations” with players via social media. Parents are required to contact PSC Volleyball if they need clarification on some information.

Conclusion
By agreeing to these terms, we acknowledge the risks of volleyball participation and grant consent for communication and promotional activities. Your commitment ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for the child/ward at Pulse Sports Volleyball Club.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these terms, please don’t hesitate to contact us at [info@pulsesports.club].
